History
At KOALA, our story is built on entrepreneurial vision, international experience, and a long-standing commitment to excellence in global trade and distribution.
The journey began in Spain in 2009, when our founders, Oscar S. and entrepreneur Widad B., established their first online sales company. This independent business specialized in the distribution of premium watches and accessories, developing strong commercial relationships with internationally recognized brands such as Seiko, Festina, and Casio. Through this venture, the founders built a solid reputation based on reliability, quality service, and long-term partnerships.
In 2014, a new company was launched to expand operations into the beauty industry, marking a strategic evolution of their business activities. This transition allowed the founders to respond to emerging global market opportunities and to develop extensive expertise in beauty distribution and international trade. Over the following years, additional companies were established in the United Arab Emirates, each operating independently while continuing to build on the same professional experience, industry knowledge, and global network.
Each stage represented a new corporate structure adapted to different markets and regions, operating under distinct company names while maintaining a consistent vision: delivering efficient distribution solutions, building trusted partnerships, and adapting to the evolving needs of international clients.
In 2025–2026, KOALA was founded in Australia as a new and independent company, created to continue this trajectory within the Asia-Pacific region. While KOALA represents a new corporate entity, it is supported by more than a decade of accumulated international experience across Europe and the Middle East in the same sector.
Today, KOALA focuses on developing strong local partnerships while leveraging global expertise in distribution, trade, and market expansion. Our mission is to combine innovation, operational efficiency, and customer-focused solutions to support sustainable growth for our partners.
